Slow in slow out.

Slow in slow out is a principle where at the extremes of some actions, movement slows as it starts and ends. examples of this are balls bouncing. A good example from gaming is in Gears of War 3 when the character rolls. After the dive to roll, the character hangs horizontal, rolls quickly and then is slower getting back onto his/her feet.
