Diligence or Temperance

From researching the seven virtues, I leaned towards Diligence or Temperance as I found those two the most interesting of the seven. Revisiting the silhouette process, this is what I came up with.

I went through the silhouettes I had previously done, and picked other silhouettes which I felt I could work with for diligence or temperance. At this point, I leaned towards diligence, wanting to go with the idea of a tireless protector. I took this idea forwards and did more iterations on the idea.

These iterations slowly built up and improved on each other, each adding a little or removing a little, until I had something I felt was a strong base to concept off of, however by this point, I felt my design had drifted from the protector where I hadn't been iterating the shield or weapon into it, and I felt my preference leaning towards temperance. I then began a concept drawing which I took to my peers for critique.

From showing this to my peers, I took away some important critique which would ultimately change my design completely. They felt my designed needed more armour, where I had not been adding a lot of armour because I wanted to model some human form, and that it looked a bit too menacing with the helmet to be the embodiment of something holy.
