Character - Final Concept


For the finalised character, we agreed upon the iteration with the rounded hood, as the square top to us looked too much like the character from Journey. The top layer (the hood, cloak etc.) we made to be a layer of moss that the character fashioned into a rudimentary form of clothing. The following 12 iterations are based upon the final rendering, applying all textures and colour options that between us we thought would create the best character for our world.




 From the 12, we reduced them down to these 2. Depending on whether we should use a statue or carving for our story. both are identical other than colour options and textures.


In the end, we decided upon the stone look for the character, with this wooden greyish-brown for the vines which make up the characters body, as to us it looked the most tree like, and for where the temple he was created is in our story, is most suiting to the area.
