Ba4 - Back to uni

So it's been a nice long holiday and I'm now back at uni. the new Ba4 projects looming over us and a lot of fun to be had with the studio project we have been assigned.

Our studio project is to concept a game with the starting point of our game concept being an artifact from the Sainsbury's Centre of Visual Arts in Norwich. The project will be concluded with a presentation pitch and a design document. I think the most exciting aspect of this project is that we have to work in teams, and we all are given the same mark for the project, so anyone slacking will bring the others down, anyone being exceptional will lift the others. This project also gives a decent amount of insight into industry practice and having to work with people.

Our CS project is called "Creating Coherent Worlds" which is interesting, as the very vague title could lead you to discuss one, or several, of many different methods, techniques, processes and theoretical studies into what is needed to create a truly coherent game world.

Although this initial post is a little belated, I'm hoping to very much get back into the swing of things at uni as I shake of the summer laziness, and start motivating myself to get as much work done as possible.
