To help with environments, I took a book from the library which I found to have quite a few decent environment images, sketches and completed concepts. The book is The Art of Final Fantasy IX. Although this game does not have Bronze Age influences or realistic qualities, I found the book useful for when it comes to creating my own environments, and the more I have studied the images, the more I feel my environments have improved.
